Teachers Programs

The study of archaeology combines many disciplines; geology, history, cartography, writing, and art, to name a few. Archaeology is an ideal tool for teaching a variety of standardized rich lessons. Teachers taking either the Teaching with Archaeology Class or the Project Archaeology Workshop will come away with hands-on lesson plans to use in their classrooms.

Either of our entertaining teachers programs (provided in cooperation with local universities) gives you the background and well-planned lessons you'll want to excite your students and fully prepare them for our Youth Field School field trips.
