Presents a 45 minutes YouTube Course in Archaeology for Students age 10 and up.

Much of what we know about our collective past comes from archaeology. To help your students learn about archaeology, we have compiled a YouTube playlist that illustrates how archaeologists work. Titled “What Archaeologists do,” the curated videos take your students through the archaeological process.

The videos are from across the United States and beyond. Viewed in sequence, they take the viewer from the planning of archaeological projects, to excavation on to lab analysis and publication of results.

The first nine are best for students ages 10 to13. Video ten goes into more detail and is best for older students.

When your students have watched all nine or ten videos, Contact us at info@heritageedu.com and we can send you an AIA Society pen for each of your students. (supplies are limited)

Heritage Educations Programs plans cam Live Stream classes in Archaeology, American Heritage and American Cultures. The classes are open to all students Grades 6 and up. They can also fulfill the requirements for Scouts to working on BSA Merit Badges,

Your Instructor

Your instructor is Craig Lesh director of Heritage Education Programs. Mr. Lesh holds a Masters degree in Archaeology & Heritage, from University of Leicester, and has taught archaeology field trips for over 20 years. He is a BSA Merit Badge Counselor with years of BSA Volunteer and Professional Experience.
